From serving in the military to serving people through real estate and supporting Veterans, I have always been driven to make an impact in the lives of others. Through every new venture, I strive to transform it into a positive platform for good.
I couldn’t believe it—as I stared at the computer screen, I read the orders to PCS to Guam for 3 years. I knew in that moment I was retiring. I had been deployed to Jordan as a Fire Chief for the past 6 months; I couldn’t leave my kids, Keagan and Kailee, for another deployment.
At 23, I joined the military and became a firefighter, serving a 22-year-long career in diverse locations from Portugal to Guam. Spending 11 years overseas, I learned quickly that you have to trust people you met five minutes ago to back you up and work as a team on a moment's notice. Serving my country, sharing a common goal and building lifelong friendships was all a part of the experience, and I loved it.
The night I received orders to Guam, I called my daughter and told her the news she wanted to hear for years. We were both crying; she was so excited her father was coming home. She told me, “Daddy, you have your wings. Now you can fly.” The next day, I went to my computer and clicked the retire button—nothing was going to change my mind.
Not long after, I received a call from the Fire Chief of the Air Force—he couldn’t believe after such a long career that I was retiring. He wanted me to stay in, to continue climbing the ranks. As it turns out, the assignment wasn’t even for me; it was for someone else. Call it fate, but I was confident it happened for a reason, and I was meant to finally come home.
In 2017, fresh out of a long military career, I opened a CrossFit gym and began building my real estate business, all while working a job selling fire equipment. With a family to provide for, I didn’t care how hard I had to work. I was determined to build something impactful that not only provided but gave me an opportunity to give back to veterans.
Once I had a stable foundation, it was time to figure out the best way to use my time. Working a normal job simply wasn’t fitting into my entrepreneurial lifestyle, so I stepped away from my sales job. And owning a CrossFit gym required me to be there from 4:30 in the morning until 8 at night—it wasn’t sustainable in the long term. Real estate was the best platform for me to make a significant impact, supporting veterans through buying and selling, along with funding other projects to give back to veterans.
My wife, Lisa, stepped in to help run the gym as I focused my efforts on real estate. Recognizing the challenges veterans face during the transition back to civilian life, I dedicated myself to helping them find homes and build stable lives. Establishing the 719 Veterans Home Team and Mil-Estate, my national military real estate network, became a mission to provide support, guidance and a sense of community to fellow veterans.
In an effort to extend our reach even more, I founded Hero Health Projects to provide a 12-month free gym membership to our clients. In the future, I hope to continue growing this venture, opening more gyms. Creating camaraderie through fitness is a great way to keep veterans together as a part of a community, ensuring they have the support they need. From serving on the board of Citizen Soldier Connection to working with Mount Carmel Veterans Service Center, I am always looking for ways to continue giving back.
My passion for service has continued long after the military; whether it is my wife and our kids, my clients in real estate, veterans, or the community as a whole, I want to continue on this mission, positively contributing to the lives of others.
One of the best parts of my job is getting to be a part of my client's stories. Through the TV show I host, American Dream TV, we get to highlight the great people in our community and show off some of our amazing listings. We have the opportunity to do so many fun things through our show and, most importantly, shine a light on our many amazing clients!
When you work with us or someone in our network, you know you are receiving quality service from an agent who shares our passion for supporting and representing veterans and active-duty military. The unpredictable nature of deployments, the urgency of swift transitions and the need for a seamless process—these are not just challenges; they are lived realities that I've navigated personally. That is why it is crucial that when you work with me, my team, or someone within our network, you are working with an agent who has served or is the spouse of someone who has. This guarantees that every client will receive a personalized service tailored to their needs and goals!
Sincerely,
Clint Jordan
